New Kathy’s Camp for Kids “Welcome Kits”

Kathy’s Camp for Kids is pleased to offer new “welcome kits” to children who have parents or primary caregivers who are dealing with cancer. Please note that the parent or primary caregiver DOES NOT have to be in active treatment. Kathy’s Camp for Kids understands that a cancer diagnosis is a diagnosis that effects the family for life. We strive to provide ongoing support an encouragement to the children of cancer patients. We recognize that cancer has an impact on the family even after treatments have been completed or remission has been achieved.

Welcome kits are shipped to children at no charge and contain:

1. An official Kathy’s Camp for Kids shirt for each child in the family.

2. Age appropriate books that may be helpful to a family that is dealing with cancer.

Books included in the welcome kit:

Because Someone I love Has Cancer- A kids activity book.
When Someone You Love Has Cancer- A guide to help kids cope.

3. A welcome letter explaining our organization, mission and vision.

4. An opportunity to have the children receive a blanket donated in partnership with Project Linus.

If you are, or know of a family dealing with cancer please contact us so that we can forward a welcome kit.
